People and roles
Give each person an inbox, and set up shared addresses like sales@ or accounts@. An alias or forwarder is enough where a separate inbox isn’t needed.
Business email on your own domain
Answer customers from hello@yourbusiness.co.za, not a free webmail address. Email comes with every Coolhost hosting plan.
- 25 to 200 addresses, depending on your plan
- On your phone, in Outlook or in webmail
- Help moving mail from your current provider

A mailbox setup that fits your team
Plan addresses around the way your business works, then use them anywhere.
Every device
Use iPhone and Android mail, Outlook, Apple Mail or webmail. We’ll help you with the settings for each app your team uses.
Mail that arrives
SPF, DKIM and DMARC help other mail servers trust messages from your domain. Include every system that sends for you, like invoicing tools.
Room for your mail
Mailboxes share your plan’s SSD storage with your website. Move up a plan from the client area when you need more room.
Keep your address, move your mail
Changing provider doesn’t mean changing your email address. We plan the move in four steps.
- 1
List
Every mailbox, alias and forwarding rule, so nothing goes missing.
- 2
Prepare
Back up important mail and create the new mailboxes on Coolhost.
- 3
Move
Copy the agreed mail across, then update your MX records.
- 4
Test
Send, receive and reply from outside services, on every device.
Email questions
Not sure how many mailboxes you need? Talk to the team.
Do I need a website to use business email?
No. You need a domain and an email service, but the domain doesn’t need a published website. Your hosting plan is there when you’re ready to add one.
Can I keep my existing email address?
Usually, as long as you control the domain. Confirm domain access, the mail to move and the switch-over plan before cancelling your old email service.
How many addresses do I get?
Starter includes 25, Standard 50, Advanced 100 and Premier 200. Aliases and forwarders help you cover more roles without extra inboxes.
Does this include Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?
No, those are separate platforms with their own licences. Tell us if you need shared calendars and office apps and we’ll help you choose.
Will my email work on my phone?
Yes. Coolhost email works with the mail apps on iPhone and Android, with Outlook and Apple Mail, and in webmail in any browser.
